Performing since 1990, Mosaic is a small vocal ensemble drawn from the Colorado Springs Chorale's 100+ members. Mosaic provides outreach and entertainment in the Pikes Peak Region for special settings and occasions on behalf of the Chorale.
Few vocal groups in the area offer such a blend of musical skill and diversity as Mosaic. The group's repertoire ranges from classical to jazz and pop. Current programs feature several musical styles including "Big Band Era" music from the '30s and '40s; "Vocal Jazz" arrangements by Gene Puerling, Kirby Shaw, The Manhattan Transfer, etc.; and "Contemporary A Cappella" (unaccompanied) songs in the style of the Kings Singers, Take Six, and others.
Mosaic offers an extensive holiday season program and has made a CD of all Christmas music which is available from the Chorale Office (address below).
Mosaic has performed for many professional associations, non-profit organizations, schools, company parties, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other special events.
